Seward Inc. Honored by University of Minnesota for Public Jobs: Private Data Informational CampaignMinneapolis, Minnesota, July 1, 2008 - Seward Incorporated has been selected as a recipient of the University of Minnesota’s Maroon and Gold Awards for 2008. They were honored with a Maroon Award in the category of Informational Campaign for work on the Public Jobs: Private Data campaign. The advertising campaign, designed by Seward, presents tongue-in-cheek scenarios designed to build awareness about the problems of data security. The campaign supported introduction of the Public Jobs: Private Data data security training program, also designed by Seward Inc., and was seen throughout the University of Minnesota and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. Public Jobs: Private Data is an online training program developed by Seward in partnership with the University of Minnesota and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, to promote best practices for secure data management among university employees. Maroon and Gold Awards are presented annually by the University of Minnesota’s Communicators Forum, to award excellence in communications. Recognized categories include Print, Writing, and Electronic Media, along with Campaigns – which combine pieces in two or more formats. The Public Jobs: Private Data campaign team included Vicky Frank of Seward, along with John Jensen, Ross Janssen, Shawn Welch, and Paul Bernhardt, all of the University of Minnesota.
